Our position on third-party content

Placements is a lookup tool that reports publicly available facts (artist names, release titles, playlist names, and positions) retrieved on-demand from third-party streaming platforms. Facts are not copyrightable under United States law (Feist v. Rural Telephone, 499 U.S. 340 (1991)). Cover-image thumbnails, where displayed, are loaded directly by the user's browser from the originating platform's CDN for identification purposes only; we do not host, cache, or redistribute those images.

Third-party trademarks, service marks, trade names, and logos are the property of their respective owners and are used nominatively to identify the platforms from which public data is queried.

Upon receipt of a valid notice, we will review, investigate, and, where warranted, remove or disable access to the identified material. Accounts determined to be repeat infringers will be terminated.

Counter-notice

If you believe material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice compliant with 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3). Send counter-notices to the same address with the subject line "DMCA Counter-Notice."

Misrepresentation

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages.
